More than a women’s issue
In 2019, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the country, joining the alarming number of states pushing for stricter reproductive laws. In an effort to combat Kemp’s decision, Windy Peach began producing comedy shows across the south. With the most recent Supreme Court decision and the resulting bands nationwide, now more than ever it is crucial to raise money for organizations who care more about reproductive health.
Reproductive Bits is a way to support reproductive rights while laughing away the stress of having them threatened.
Come out and be the “Us” in Uterus!
Tickets come with a Reproductive Bit sticker or pin and a raffle entry.
All proceeds go to organizations taking action and providing protection such as:
Fair Fight Action: Advocating for election reform and securing the voting rights of Georgians- a crucial part of the fight for any right.
Feminist Women’s Health Center: Providing safe, accessible and compassionate abortion and gynecological care to all who need it without judgment. The only non-profit, locally-based organization in Georgia that directly provides reproductive health services, while also protecting reproductive rights and promoting reproductive justice through organizing and advocacy.
ACLU of Georgia: Dedicated to preserving the civil liberties enshrined in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Through litigation, lobbying, and communications, the ACLU of Georgia works to preserve and enhance the rights of all citizens of Georgia without political partisanship. Foremost among these rights are freedom of speech and religion, the right to equal treatment under law, and the right to privacy.
